Built by Prolemy the First nearly 300 years before Christ, the Alexandria Library would house the largest collection of books ever assembled in the Ancient World. But was the library burned by Caesar's armies, was it sacked by the followers od Islam or was it destroyed by Christians in an attempt to end the pagan beliefs of the Egyptians and Greeks? Its story remains without a doubt one of the greatest mysteries of all time.
