Fully furnished 2 bedroom flat in Luxor, southern Egypt

Optional Local Egyptian 'buddy' - £40 per week.
The flat is a 1st floor flat in a 3 storey building, in a quiet professional residential area, and is only a 10 minute walk from the River Nile, Luxor town centre and Luxor Temple.
The flat consists of:
- 2 bedrooms (2 double beds in one, 1 double bed in the other)
- all linen provided
- air conditioning in lounge and both bedrooms
- kitchen
- spacious lounge with TV, DVD
- bathroom with shower
The classic tourist sights nearby include:
- Luxor and Karnak Temples
- Luxor Museum, Mummy Museum
- Valley of the Kings
- Valley of Queens
- Hatshepsut
- Ramses Temple
(Entry fees to these £3 to £7 each)

Egyptian 'Buddy' (Optional)
He is not an Egyptologist (historian) but a local person who speaks fluent English. He will pick you up in a taxi from the airport and during the week, when you want, he can show you: the classic tourist sights, the local souq (market), restaurants, local hotels where you can sunbathe and swim in their pool overlooking the Nile (for £1.50-£5.00 per day)
He can also help arrange: a horse and carriage ride, a felucca trip on the Nile, a camel ride, domestic day return flights to Cairo, Aswan or Abu Simbel, discounts with local shops for perfume bottles, gold, ornaments
Because he is a local person, he can help you get a feel of being in Egypt with Egyptians, rather than just being a tourist standing on the outside, looking in. He wouldn’t be with you the whole time, just when you needed him.
Flight Information
Return flights are about £100-£250 each at different times of the year, and are cheaper the earlier they are booked. Flights to Luxor can be booked through:
- Excel airways - flights on Mondays to Luxor
- Britannia airways - flights on Wednesdays to Luxor
- British Airways - Daily Cairo flights
- Egypt Air - Daily Cairo flights
For Cairo flights, you can incorporate a stay in Luxor with a round trip to Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada
Booking and payment
Please complete the enquiry form below with your details and click on 'Send Enquiry'. We will contact you to confirm the availability for the dates you have requested and send a booking form to you.
The rent for the flat is £150 per week. A deposit of £50 is payable in advance by cheque(£60 if you wish to book the local buddy as well). The deposit must be sent with your completed booking form. You will receive a receipt by return. The balance due must be paid in full 6 weeks before your intended stay.
